Impediment integrates disk drives, tape drives and RAID controllers into ready-to-run subsytems for most brands of workstations and servers. The Fibre Channel subsystems can be connected into existing or new SAN's. All systems and simpler subsystems are shipped fully configured and integrated.

We sell various brands of RAID Systems from Xyratex and StorCase.

We sell SAN components from qLogic and Brocade.

We sell large and small JBOD enclosuress from StorCase and Xyratex.

We also integrate drives onto both original and third-party mounting brackets for most workstations and servers, such as SGI, Sun, HP, etc.

Tape drives are either integrated individually, as described above, or as Libraries. We sell Tape Libraries from SpectraLogic, ATL, Overland Data, IBM, HP and Seagate.

We use Fibre, SCSI and ATA disk drives from Seagate, HGST and Maxtor.

We use DAT, AIT, DLT, LTO and 8mm tape drives from Sony, Seagate, Quantum, HP, IBM and Exabyte.

We sell Host Bus Adapters from qLogic, LSI, Adaptec and JNI.
